Christmas Holiday Round-Up, Day 14 & 15

Day 14, December 28th 2012

Hey everyone! Today I got up a little earlier so that my family and I could go to the movies! My Mum, Tessa and I went to go and see 'Life of Pi' and my Dad and Hamish saw 'Wreck-it Ralph'. I saw 'Wreck-it Ralph' with my friend Caelan not to long ago. Anyway, 'Life of Pi' is a movie about:

A young man who survives a disaster at sea is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While cast away, he forms an unexpected connection with another survivor ... a fearsome Bengal tiger. - from http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0454876/.
Life of Pi movie
It is a longer movie, 2 hours long but it is a good movie. In some parts it's a bit slow but after that it's really good. After the movie we went for some food. We went to a Japanese bakery and I got a cheesy bun thing. Its a bread bun with some cheese in the middle. It is soo good! Then my Mum wanted to go shopping for some winter clothes. Whilst my Mum, Tessa and I were shopping, my Dad was looking for a suit. After about 30 min Dad met us up and we went home. For the rest of the day I was at home not really doing anything. For dinner I had char siu and rice. Yum!

Day 15, December 29th 2012

Today was an action-pact day! I had to get up a little earlier because we were going to the new aquarium at resorts world Sentosa. But in the morning we went to the fruit market to get some fresh fruit and vegetables. After that we went to Vivo City for lunch and a little bit of shopping. We went to Marche for lunch! It is one of my favorite restaurants even though I have only been there a couple of times. After that my Dad, Tessa, Hamish and I went on the cable cars to get to Sentosa. Then to the museum and the aquarium. The aquarium is full of so many amazing bright colorful fish! We where there for about 1 hour and a half. I took a lot of photos during the day and they show a lot about it.

Christmas Holiday Round-Up, Day 12 & 13

Day 12, December 26th 2012

Hi everyone! On Wednesday we didn't really do anything because my friend Caelan and her family are going back to Hong Kong. They had to get ready and pack all their bags. Around 1:15pm we had to drive them to the airport and say goodbye. I always hate that part of visits. But along with saying goodbye, you say 'see you next time' or 'see you soon'. And it's true. When you say goodbye you are never saying goodbye forever. For Christmas, my parents gift to me was a trip to Hong Kong during the Easter break to go and spend a week there with Caelan on my own! I'll go on my own for the first week them my family join us on the second week. It is going to be a lot of fun and I am really looking forward to going! I do miss Caelan but I can't wait to see her in April during Easter!
Todays round-up is only short because not that much happened.
Hope you all are having a great holiday!

Day 13, December 27th 2012

Hey again! So today was a fun day. In the morning my Dad, sister Tessa and brother Hamish all went prawn fishing. For those of you who don't know what that is, it like fishing other than it's in an inclosed area, the rods are just string and a hook with bait on the end of a pole. I know this probably sounds boring but it is actually not bad. In a way it was quite fun! We were there for an hour and caught around 8-10 prawns altogether. Tessa and I shared a rod and my Dad and Hamish shared one. We had a small contest to see who could catch the most. Dad and Hamish won. Tessa and I would of had heaps more, other than we lost about half of them, sadly. At times it was boring when there was no action, but in a way I still found it nice just sit around and chat whilst waiting for prawns to take to bait so that we could catch them. Poor prawns, they never say it coming. So after the hour was up we got the prawns out from the net and put them in a bag to take home.

Wait for it, wait for it!

Got it!

For lunch instead of having prawns, Tessa and I made bacon and cheese casadias! They were really good!

Cooking the bacon!

After lunch, my family and I went to a department store called Metro (or at least I think that's what it was called). They were having a huge sale only for a couple of days and we thought we would check it out. We were there for a couple of hours. My Mum needed a new suitcase and the rest of us just wanted to look around. We were there for around 2-2:30 hours. It didn't seem like that long though. I was looking at shoe and clothes and the bag. But mostly helping my Mum and Dad look for things. Whilst my parents were busy looking at the suitcases Tessa and I went to go look at the Xbox games and the Wii games. Tessa had a go on Dance Central. I took a video of it but I won't post it. Sorry! Anyway, after 10 minutes of that we started to get a bit bored so we found our parents and my Mum said she wanted to go and look at some clothes. I found a really nice black cardigan that I got and just a couple of tank tops, blue and pink (they didn't have purple sadly), and something else and a new backpack for school. After that we went home.
Shopping!

At home my parents made Tessa, Hamish and I some dinner. Then I had to do the dishes because it was my day. Tessa and I are taking turns doing jobs around the house, vacuuming, dished, dusting, etc, whilst my helper is on holiday! After I finished the dished I took my dog Whiskey out for a walk/run. Oh by the way, Whiskey is better now! He was just sick for a bit!

So thats what I've been up to. Leave a comment of how your holidays been and what you've been up to! Not to long until 2013! Counting down the days!

Christmas Holiday Round-Up, Day 11

Day 11, December 25th 2012
Merry Christmas!

Christmas is finally here everyone! Hope you all had a amazing day full of joy and wonderful things! My sister, Tessa and my friend Caelan and I all got up before 7 ready to go downstairs and see what was under the Christmas tree. But the rule was we weren't allowed. So we waited 2 minutes until it was 7. Then we got all the parents up and the rest of the kids. We rushed downstairs to see what was underneath the tree. My family and Caelans family all unwrapped presents from Santa and from each other all together. One of the things I got was the new iPod Touch 5, neon yellow and a mustache case. When I got it I literally screamed because I was so exited to get one. My sister, brother and I all shared  an iPod Touch 4 before, but it got annoying sharing when your brother is 4 and is always wanting it. So my sister and I both got our own and my brother got the old one. But Christmas is not about the presents, it's about spending time with your family and friends. And thats exactly what my family and I did on Christmas day. We had a big Christmas lunch with friends that lasted 5 hours! It was great and I had a lot of fun!

I hope you all had a great Christmas and photos are on their way!

Christmas Holiday Round-Up, Day 8 & 9

Day 8 & 9, December 22th/23st 2012

So today is a day I have been looking forward to for a long time. My friend Caelan and her family are visiting from Hong Kong for 5 days! They are staying over for Christmas with us. When she got here we basically did a catch up session and talked a lot. We painted our nail and just hung out together.

When she arrived
On Sunday we got up a little earlier so that we could go swimming at the school pool. The main pool was closed so we went to the infant pool. We also played football and went out for drinks afterwards. It was really fun.

This is what we did for the first half of the day. Around 1pm we went to NEX mall for lunch, movies, timezone, shopping and frozen yogurt. To get there we took the MRT.

MRT Station
At the mall we had Subway for lunch then went to the movies. We saw the movie Wreck-it Ralph. It is a really good movie. I enjoyed it. If you like comedy, animation movies then you'll love this movie. After that we went to timezone. Although timezone is a lot of fun it can be a waste of money depending  on how much you choose to spend there. After that we went to a cheap type of place that sells nail polish, show laces and socks, fake nails, junk earrings and so on. I bought a couple of things there. Then we went for frozen yogurt. The place we went to is a do-it-yourself type of place. You choose your cup, get as much frozen yogurt as you want, put as many toppings on as you want, then weigh it and pay. It can be really expensive though. Next stop, Diva! Diva is one of my favorite accecory placeses. Lucky for us they were having a sale. A lot of it was still expensive until the lady pointed out and opened a $1 box! We rummaged through the box for like 20-30 minutes! I found earrings that used to be $18, $11, $20 and all of them are still new and undamaged. I got 9 things in the end. A mustache ring, a heart ring, 3 feather earrings, gold hoops, hot pink peace hoops, and 2 pairs of 6 pack earrings! The lady was about to put them in before she offered them to me! the total coast was $9. If the stuff wasn't on sale, it would of been over $100!

Overall it was a great day and I had a lot of fun.

Hope you guys are having a great holiday wherever you are!

2 Days til Christmas!

Christmas Holiday Round-Up, Day 6 & 7

Day 6 & 7, December 20th/21st 2012

Hi everyone! So on the 20th I went out to Takashimaya to go and meet my Mum for Lunch. To get there I had to take the MRT, then walk to Takashimaya where I met my mum. We went to this really nice cafe that I forgot the name of. I had pumpkin soup with toast, my Mum had a lamb sandwich, and me went halvezies on coconut bread. It is amazing! Every time we go there, we order coconut bread. After that we went shopping for some Christmas prezzies.

Later that day I went to a sleepover at one of my good friends place, Delphine. We went swimming, watched Pretty Little Liars, surfed the web, and more. I can't remember what we ate for dinner, but we did go to fair price and bought chips, chocolate, and some drinks. We ate some of that at a park nearby and saved the rest for the Pretty Little Liars marathon. I recently started watching the series and I totally love it! At some parts it can be really creepy and suspenseful but it is a great series if you like suspense and drama. We woke up a couple of minuets before 3:11 just so I could prove to her that the world IS NOT going to end yet and that there is no need to worry. We did survive to apocalypse. I think that the big fuss of the apparent end of the world was for nothing because it was highly unlikely to even happen. We fell straight back to sleep after that. In the morning we basically watched a couple more Pretty Little Lairs episodes and hung around.
For the rest of the day I didn't do really anything I think...

Anyway.....4 Days til Christmas!

Christmas Holiday Round-Up, Day 4 & 5

Day 4 & 5, December 18th/19th 2012

So today I had a sleepover at Aayushi's with Denyvi. We made a vlog to tell you guys what we got up to on day 4. On day 5, Aayushi, Denyvi and I had pancakes for breakfast. Then went out to go and see The Hobbit. It's a really good movie, if you havent seen it yet, go and see it! We then did a bit of shopping and Japanese Photobooth. It was a lot of fun!

When I got home from the sleepover I found that my brother and sister both had haircut. My brother HAD long curly hair that is now short. My sister had long hair that is now slightly above her shoulders. I also found out that my dog, Whiskey, is sick. He vomited and can barley walk. When he does walk he cries and wines. Whiskey is old for a dog of his bread. 11 years old in dog years, 77 in human year. I don't know whats wrong with him but I hope that it's not the end. He will get better I hope. :)

Hope you guys are having a wonderful holiday so far! To everyone that is traveling safe travels and I hope that you enjoy yourself and to people that are not traveling hope that you have a lot of fun!
